Patrick’s career took off when he originated the role of Austin Reed on NBC’s Days of our Lives and won the Soap Opera Digest award for best new comer.

After leaving Days, he became a series regular on Fox’s Melrose Place and then received his first big screen break, playing Zander Barkalow in Paul Verhoven’s Starship Troopers .

While doing a decade of movies and television, Patrick also turned his attention to song writing. He is the lead singer of the band, The Sleeping Masses, as well as a solo artist and writer for other musical acts. He recently reprised his role as Austin Reed on NBC’s Days of our Lives returning to the part that first put him on the map.
